Denn: Allein den Aussto\u00df von Treibhausgasen zu minimieren, wird nicht ausreichen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Die Ergebnisse aus Berechnungen und Prognosen sind alarmierend:<\/strong> Wenn in den kommenden zehn Jahren so viel CO2 und andere Treibhausgase in die Atmosph\u00e4re emittiert werden wie bisher, k\u00f6nnte das Klima bald noch mehr verr\u00fcckt spielen. Dann drohen noch h\u00e4ufiger D\u00fcrren und \u00dcberschwemmungen. Forscherteams suchen deshalb nach Methoden, das CO2 vor dem Einbringen in die Atmosph\u00e4re abzufangen oder es dort abzusaugen und dauerhaft zu speichern. Die Anhebung des Wasserstandes einst trockengelegter Moore k\u00f6nnte einen erheblichen Beitrag zur Verringerung der Emissionen von Treibhausgasen in Deutschland sowie in der Europ\u00e4ischen Union leisten. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welches Speicherpotential die Aufforstung von W\u00e4ldern auf geeigneten Fl\u00e4chen haben k\u00f6nnte, ist Gegenstand aktueller Forschungsprojekte. Professor Harald Lesch stellt die unterschiedlichen Ans\u00e4tze f\u00fcr ein klimaneutrales Europa auf den Pr\u00fcfstand und zeigt, vor welchen Herausforderungen die Menschheit
