The international condemnation of the US government’s attack on Venezuela is clear. Only the German Chancellor is making an exception, calling the attack on the neighbouring country, which violates international law, \u2018complex\u2019. The tragic consequences of the 2003 Iraq War continue to weigh on the US and the Middle East to this day. A regime change in Venezuela by the Venezuelans could have been an opportunity, but what the Americans have now done there could lead to exactly the opposite. In reality, Trump is not concerned with the welfare of the Venezuelans, but with oil for the US. Who is next on Trump’s menu? Greenland, Canada, Mexico? It could lead to a global conflagration. Trump, Putin and Xi Jinping want to bomb the world back into the 20th century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what can be done?<\/strong> History teaches us that if as many democrats as possible around the world resist, this plan will not succeed. On the contrary, a very strong international peace movement could emerge again. This is its momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n
