{"id":35572,"date":"2016-07-16T08:34:16","date_gmt":"2016-07-16T06:34:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sonnenseite.com\/energy\/cutting-edge-construction-the-plus-energie-buerohochhaus.html"},"modified":"2016-07-16T08:34:16","modified_gmt":"2016-07-16T06:34:16","slug":"cutting-edge-construction-the-plus-energie-buerohochhaus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sonnenseite.com\/en\/energy\/cutting-edge-construction-the-plus-energie-buerohochhaus\/","title":{"rendered":"Cutting-edge construction: The \u201aPlus-Energie-B\u00fcrohochhaus\u2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8216;Plus-Energie-B&uuml;rohochhaus&#8217; (plus-energy-office high-rise building) is the world&lsquo;s first office tower that can claim to feed more energy into the power grid than is required to operate AND use the building.<\/p>\n<p> <!--more--> <\/p>\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p>And all that in the heart of a large modern city!<\/p>\n<p>Besides  redefining the term &sbquo;energy efficiency&lsquo;, the integral building concept  demonstrates one thing in particular: that plus-energy office buildings  are not only technically possible, but are also, above all, economically  feasible concepts for the future of working on and in buildings.<\/p>\n<p>The  &#8216;Plus-Energie-B&uuml;rohochhaus&#8217; is an unique research and construction  project implemented by Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien) in  cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy  (BMWFW) and the Federal Real Estate Company (BIG).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"csc-default\">\n<div class=\"csc-textpic-text\">\n<p><strong>Unique example of interdisciplinary networking<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is more than just the refurbishment of an existing university  building.
