The term “climate change” refers to long-term changes in temperature and weather caused primarily by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels.
Whether floods, forest fires or droughts – the effects of climate change are already being felt today. The current IPCC report also speaks a clear language: we only have a limited CO2 budget and must act quickly, wisely and effectively now if we still want to achieve the Paris climate goals.
